Bafang 48V / 10.5Ah lithium-ion battery
Model:
- BT F150.D504.C
- P/N 671405
Current use:
- P/N 671396: Sun E350 B1 Electric Trike
- P/N Sun Seeker E-Eco Tad Tadpole Trike
This battery is designed with a low-current activation switch function that serves two purposes. First, it helps prevent sparking during battery installation and charging. Second, it helps reduce self-discharge when the battery is not in use for extended periods.
Because of this design, obtaining an accurate voltage reading requires momentarily bridging the positive terminal and the adjacent PIN terminal to activate the circuit before measuring voltage.
Estimated Voltage – Based on integrated LED indicator on the battery
LED % Range | Approx. Voltage Range |
|---|---|
Red flashing: <5% | ~39.0–41.0V |
Red ON: 5–24% | ~41.0–46.0V |
Red + 1 Green: 25–49% | ~46.0–49.5V |
Red + 2 Green: 50–74% | ~49.5–52.0V |
Red + 3 Green: 75–100% | ~52.0–54.6V |
Voltage Reading | What It Usually Means |
|---|---|
54.6V | Fully charged |
53–54V | Near full |
50–52V | Mid to high charge |
48–49V | Around nominal / moderate charge |
44–46V | Very low |
39–42V | Near BMS cutoff |
0V or near 0V | Protection mode, blown fuse, disconnected BMS, or failed pack |
Fluctuating / unstable | Possible BMS issue or bad internal connection |
